Billy Jack “Woody” Woodall beloved husband, father and Poppy, passed away September 21, 2021. Born on May 2, 1942 to the late Roy and Edna Woodall, Billy was the youngest of seven siblings. He grew up in west Texas and graduated from Chillicothe High School. He was married to the love of his life, Brenda Beck for 58 years and they had two children. Billy served four years in the United States Air Force and then went to work as an auditor for State of Texas Comptroller’s office. Billy loved his family and his dogs dearly, eating Mexican food every Wednesday night, and watching his grandchildren participate in various sporting events. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, he is survived by his wife, Brenda, of Fort Worth, TX; son, Curtis, his wife, Monica, and their daughter Lily Woodall of Alpine, TX; daughter, Whitney, her husband, Jason and their children, Sydney, Cooper and Parker Simpson of Trophy Club, TX; life time friends that are as close family, David and Kathy Carruth and their children, Courtney, Brian and Lauren; and a dear, honorary daughter, Trine Gonzales.
Funeral Services for Billy are scheduled for Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Laurel Land Funeral home in Fort Worth with visitation at 10:00 am prior to the service. A committal service at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
