My brother, Blanks Jr. was there for anyone who needed to talk or had a favor...always happy and kind..never a negative word. I have been blessed all these years to be his sister. Thank you to my brother for his unconditional love. You will be missed. Now you are at peace. I love you always..
I will always remember his love for planes. He would come to see me in Midland, TX and we would go to the Confederate Air Force Show together. He proudly wore his American Legion uniform and attend to his duties that were ask of him. This particular time he was to sit the physically challenged children on the front row. Just to see him in action was heartwarming. After the show we walked around looking at all the vintage planes. He knew the name of every single one. We walked and talked for nearly 2 hours. This is a memory I shall never forget.
