Celebration of life: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel of Fort Worth. Graveside service follows at 2:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Bonnie was born in Lawson, Ark., the second of twins to Julia and Claud Johnson, on Oct. 21, 1928. Bonnie was a pediatric registered nurse in Fort Worth for over 20 years. She was known for her kindness towards and compassion with her patients.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wendell Halbrook; twin brother, Lonnie Johnson; and sister, Florene Jones.
Survivors: Brother, David Johnson; son, Wendell "Chip" Halbrook Jr. and wife, Beverly; daughter, Lesa Warren and husband, Gary; and grandchildren, Kelsey Warren, Sarah Zornes and husband, Tim.
