Brenda Mae Gatewood was born on September 16, 1955, to Allene, and Anthony Gatewood in Itasca, TX. After moving to Fort Worth, she attended James E. Guinn, and Arlington Heights. Her friends and family called her Cocomama, or Big Wheel Dollar Bill. She was friendly, outgoing, kind, and outspoken. She was preceded in death by parents Allene, and Anthony Gatewood, Vickie Demps, nieces Brenda Whitaker, Cheryl Gatewood, sisters Joe Ann Gatewood, and Juanita Horrice, Survived by brothers Richard L. Gatewood, J.C. Demps, Gilbert Horrice, sisters, Elaine King (Ira King Jr), Kimberly Horrice, Tammy Demps, Shirley, Dimitri, Darlene, Stephanie, and Tatrice. Nephews Jason King, Kinta King, Antonio Gatewood, (Sherita), Antoine Gatewood (Brandy), Javion, Myron, Charles Demps, Jeremy Demps, Timothy Demps, Credrick Demps, Roland, Corey, nieces Alicia Gatewood, Antoinette Gatewood, Tomelia Allene Gatewood, Carielle, Tyeshia Demps, Christian Demps, Armanyi Demps, Bree, Renetta, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
