From many years ago having fun with the gang of misfits (yes partying) to working with you at BL..you were always fun, kind and just an all around great guy Brian. You will be missed by many. God speed friend. Rest in paradise. 

Stop doing stupid things was something Brian once told me. I worked for Brian in Cleburne at the Chevy house. I used to be a immature punk and he helped set me straight. I opened my mouth at the wrong times, prioritized the wrong things and he help me see the perspective I was choosing to ignore. I don’t feel I’ve had the best male role models so it was nice to have one that cared enough to tell me the truth. The time I worked for him I started going back to school and was working on transitioning away from dealerships. I told him about a business I wanted to start and he was supportive by allowing me to work on setting up the business while working at the Chevy house, when there wasn’t any work to be completed. When I told Brian I would be leaving, he let me know I wouldn’t be hired back. That confused me because I was pretty good at my job. When I asked him about that he told me that if he left that door open for me, I wouldn’t put everything into the business, when it got hard. I’ve since started an additional business and I have made small investments into other businesses. I believe Brian played a huge role in my work ethic and future. For that I am thankful I got to know Brian. My prayers are with him and his family. He will be missed. 

I no longer have the photo I wanted to share so I’ll describe it. In the parts warehouse, they had these small dumb red stools to stand on. Because of Brian’s height he had to stand on them more than myself. One day I took a picture of him doing inventory and he laughed and flipped me off. It was so hilarious because he was standing on one of these stools with his short self reaching for something. He laughed too after I started laughing. Still makes me crack up when I think of it now.
