

Buddy Hoyet Morgan, 69, passed away on September 29, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Buddy was born in Olney, Texas to Hoyet and Maurine Morgan. Buddy really liked to make people laugh. He was mostly known for his funny, witty and stubborn characteristics will be dearly missed. Buddy was always giving people a hard time, he loved to mess with people and make them laugh. Buddy loved to go hunting and fishing. His two favorite spots to fish were Lake Fork and Newcastle Lake. He also liked to bowl and go on casino trips. The Oklahoma casinos were his favorite and he liked their food as well. Buddy also liked to eat. Red Lobster and Outback were on his favorite restaurant list. He enjoyed cooking out too, and having the family over to eat and play games. On January 1, 1969 in Garland, Texas Buddy married the love of his life, Barbara. Together they had three wonderful children. Pops, as his grandchildren and great grandchildren called him loved his family. He would sometimes take his grandchildren fishing and try to make them play dominos and other games with him. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mark Morgan. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Barbara, his children: Brian Morgan and his wife, Teresa, Belinda Stockton and her husband, Greg, and Betty Freeman and her husband, John. Also left to remember him are his grandchildren: Jeremiah and his wife, Deaven, Dylan, Austin, Thomas, Aiden and Madison and his great grandchildren, Dalilah and Leviah, siblings: brothers, Tony, Donny and his wife, Joy, and sisters, Sheila and Tanya. There will be a gathering of friends and family on October 15, 2016 at 1pm for Buddy at the Southside Baptist Church in Olney, Texas at 1pm.
