Byron Lee "Montana" Spencer

Byron was born on July 4, 1963, to Martha and Lyle Spencer in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Byron grew up in Libby, Montana. He worked for Oncor Electric Delivery (which had several names throughout the years) for 36 yrs. and retired on April 1, 2023.

On March 10, 2001 Byron married the love of his life, Sondra King. Byron was a devoted husband/best friend, a father and grandfather who loved his children and grandchildren very dearly. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, going to the coast, woodworking, NASCAR, hockey, the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys and having a great time with his friends. He was the life of the party and best person ever. He will be immensely missed by all.

Byron was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Lyle, his brother Joe, and his sister Kathy. He is survived by his wife Sondra, his beloved dog Duke, his brother Andy Spencer (and spouse Jan), his children Vanessa Spencer, Alicia McCormick (and spouse Vestie), his grandchildren Aiden, Savior, and Camden, sister-in-law Anita Crites, and a multitude of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX on Saturday, August 3rd at 10:00 am.
