

Camille graduated from Tremble Tech High school in Fort Worth, Texas later marrying her husband of 59 years, Eugene Carruth.
Camille enjoyed traveling, not only seeing the world but also tasting and using all of her senses to the experience. She would return home and tell of the places she had seen, the colors and the textures of flowers and even foods. One of her favorite destinations was Argentina where she would watch the Tango Dancing. Other favorite places she visited on her countless trips was Switzerland, Berlin, and Norway.
She loved fine arts, music, and animals. She passed this love of animals she shared with her husband down to her children and grandchildren.
During her lifetime, she was active in many organizations and clubs from a Citizen Band Radio Club in the 1960’s to Everman Garden Club, Volunteering at the Bass Hall in Fort Worth and playing Pokeno with her friends.
During her lifetime after raising 4 children she was employed by Muse Air, Trans Star Airlines and eventually retired from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Camille was born in Bossier City, LA on 12/30/1939.
She is preceded in death by: her mother Glenn Avery Ruttan, father Jessie J. Ruttan, sister Yvonne Ruttan Pareja, and brother Rudy Ruttan.
Survived by her husband Eugene H. Carruth, Children: Rick Carruth & wife Cynthia, Cindy Manak, and husband James, David Carruth, & Sheri Carruth Lindsey. Grandchildren: Rusty Carruth & wife Nichole, Justin, Eric, & Kelsey Manak, Sarah Vasquez, & Kennedy Carruth, and several beloved nieces and nephew and will be missed by many longtime friends.
