The summer is going by real fast it just seems like it was yesterday when I last sent a message of hope for the baseball season. Both teams are not doing so well and we are about a mid point things just need to turn around. I have a picture of Rangers stadium at my desk, it was taken during the start of the 2010 world series and I can see your seats. It warms my heart to know that you were at that game. I understand that these thoughts are just for me and others that read them but I truly miss you each day and look for signs of you on my daily walk. You are an amazing woman and I can never thank you enough for shaping me into the man that I am. Love You Mom, Johnny

I celebrated your birthday yesterday by flying red and blue balloons as a sign of hope and the arrival of spring. As they floated to the sky at sunset with my message of love for you I was reminded of just how much you are missed by all. The baseball season is about to start in a week with both the Rangers and Rockies hoping for a great season. The Rangers will be in town this summer and I have bought my tickets for both games, I will cheer them on and proudly wear my Rangers colors knowing you are with me. We celebrated Uncle Fidel's birthday yesterday as well and he wore his Rangers hat, it was a fun time to see so many little kids from cousins etc. Tell my grand parents that their family continues to grow with some very beautiful children. Give mu Uncle Ernie and Gino a hug for me today as well. I Love You always, Johnny

Some days are harder that others knowing I wont get your call today. I miss your voice, your greeting cards with your hand writing, the talk of the coming Rangers baseball season. I see your strength in my brother David. I miss you mom and think of you often. Johnny

Your second favorite team is in the super bowl, GO BRONCOS! you're gifts to extended family were well received. I'm proud that you left me in charge. I was thinking of how you made your green chili and my lack of skill to make mine as good yours. David has made a significant life change and I can't wait to see my new brother. Love you Mom

I was thinking of you this morning when I heard the red cardinal sing from my bird clock. I remember the time I saw one at your home and how excited I was to see it. The red cardinal wind chime is with Uncle Fidel to remind him of you. The swing in the yard was always a big hit with the boys when they were small. Throwing a football threw the swing was always a sport or pushing each other on it was great back yard fun. Pete put that up in order for the kids to have something to do. I remember the trip one year over winter break and us taking the kids to Six Flags and the joy you got watching your grand kids have fun. I remember the chips and salsa and the hours of talking at the kitchen table with you while we watched the game or some Mexican soap. Thank Mom for each of these memories they mean a lot to me.
