Cathy Ann Mayberry

Cathy Ann Null Mayberry, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, with family by her side. Cathy was born April 21,1952 to William C. and Doris Ann Null and was a proud lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas.

She attended Arlington Heights High School and later Texas Christian University. In college she made countless friendships and also joined the Tri-Delta Sorority. She cherished and maintained relationships with high school friends and college friends the rest of her life. It was at TCU where she met and invited her future husband of 47 years, Charlie, to the Sadie Hawkins dance.

After graduating with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business, Cathy excelled professionally and enjoyed a full and successful career as an International Fashion Buyer and Senior Level Executive for Fortune 500 companies. Throughout these years, she raised a family and continued to be a loyal friend and compassionate giver.

Cathy maintained a robust social calendar after her retirement and enjoyed memberships across Fort Worth including The Woman's Club of Fort Worth, The Petroleum Club, Ridglea Country Club and many others throughout her life. She immensely enjoyed her friends, family and traveling across the world.

Cathy is survived by her husband Charles L. Mayberry; son, William L. Mayberry of Fort Worth; daughter, Laura Ann Weber and husband T.J. of Willow Park; grandson, Louis B. Bacigalupo. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents William C. Null, Doris Ann Cooley Null and her brother Gary W. Null.

A Private Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 followed by a Memorial Service and reception at The Woman's Club of Fort Worth, 1316 Pennsylvania Ave, 76104. Friends and former associates are invited to come and celebrate the life of Cathy Ann Mayberry at 5:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank Sallie Ann White, Robbin Buford and the staff of Brookdale Westover Hills for the loving care given to Cathy during her difficult journey with aphasia, dementia and cancer. She is at peace.
