Cecil Joe McLaughlin, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home. Cecil was born to Homer and Louis (Jones) McLaughlin. After graduating from Godley High School he went to work at Swift Meat Processing at the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Cecil met his wife Jacqueline L. (Gregory) before joining the U.S. Army. After his military service, he worked for General Motors for 30 years. He was a member of the Hermann Sons Life of Fort Worth for 60 years, as well as a member of the Elks Lodge. Cecil was an avid bowler.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline McLaughlin.
Family includes brothers Billy McLaughlin, Pete McLaughlin, Carl McLaughlin and Fred McLaughlin; sisters Lucille Shelton and Louise Watson.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter Beverly Ann Turek and husband Morris Randall Turek. Two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
