Fort Worth, TX – Charlie Fitzgerald, 80, passed away April 1, 2020. Charlie was born June 29, 1939 in Fort Worth, TX. He served in Vietnam as a proud Marine and later spent his career in the auto upholstery industry. Charlie was a leader in the church at Stadium Drive Baptist and was devoted to his service and family. The Lord blessed him one last time and allowed him to depart the way he would have wanted; quickly without prolonged suffering. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Funeral Visitation will be at Laurel Land Cemetery on Sunday April 5, 2020 anytime between 10am – 2pm. There will be a grave side service on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 12:30 pm for immediate family only.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life Gathering will be planned for a future date.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, gifts and donations may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 53 years, Darlene Fitzgerald; daughter, Tanya Fitzgerald; son, Rick and Alice Lowrance; son, Terry Lowrance; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
