Sending our deepest condolences to the family from Bishop Joe & Lisa Mitcham and family. Sleep in Peace, Reverend Gillespie.

Chuck, you have been a member of our family since you married my Big Sis in 1980. It seems you have always been around, and you will be missed. There were countless memories made over the decades, and I will fondly remember them all. You have earned your rest, Bro-in-Law. ❤️

On behalf of the National Association of Booker T. Washington/J.A. Brooks Alumni, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Charles Gillespie.

Mr. Gillespie served our school as a devoted teacher and coach, and his impact reached far beyond the classroom and organized sports. He believed in his students, pushed them toward excellence, and helped shape the young men and women who would go on to carry his lessons throughout their lives. Generations of Tigers remember him not only for what he taught, but for the example he set.

His legacy of dedication, discipline, and care will continue to live on through the countless students and athletes he mentored over the years.

We are grateful for his years of service and the lasting difference he made in our school community. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love and appreciation.

Rest in peace, Mr. Gillespie.

With heartfelt sympathy, The National Association of Booker T. Washington/J.A. Brooks Alumni, Teague, TX
