Service: 3 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Chuck was raised in Lepanto, Ark., and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1961. He moved to Fort Worth in 1963 and began a 38-year career in engineering at General Dynamics, now Lockheed. His hobbies included playing bridge, classic cars and going to swap meets and car shows. He had a lifelong love of collecting Lionel trains and built an amazing Lionel rail system that ran through his home, built to exacting, engineer detail! He was also a Cowboys fan, NASCAR and other sports.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Lynn Roberts, in 1978.
Survivors: Wife, Mary Jane; son, Kevin and wife, Kim, of Cookeville, Tenn.; daughter, Kim Henderson of Evans, Ga.; stepson, Daniel McKesson and wife, Dee; stepdaughter, Trudy Morgan and husband, Doug. Chuck was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren.
