Cheryl was born Aug. 17, 1945, to Albert and Laura Sessums. Cheryl was passionate about the Lord and her family and was a longtime Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors: Husband of 55 years, James D. Mitchell; son, Larry Mitchell Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Margie Mitchell; brother, Don Sessums; grandsons, Larry Mitchell Jr., Jonathan Mark Mitchell, Justin Mitchell and Jason Mitchell; and great-granddaughter, Anabelle Mitchell.
