Chinh Thi Nguyen

A Visitation will be held at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 5109 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 9:00 am. Burial to Follow at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Chinh was born in Ha Nam, Viet Nam to Ha Van Nguyen and Thoa Thi Nguyen on April 16, 1946. She married Luong Van Nguyen in 1969 in Saigon, Viet Nam. In 1975, she and Luong came to Fort Worth, Texas as Vietnamese refugees building a beautiful, hard-working life from the ground up through her work as a seamstress and later running their family machine shop, LN Aerospace. She was a woman of immense resilience, grace, and faith. She was a dedicated pillar of her community and a devout member of St. Rita's Church and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Vietnamese Church for many decades, prior to residing in Chandler AZ where she spent her later years.

More than anything, she was a deeply devoted matriarch who shared her pure joy and kindness with everyone she met. She loved cooking for her family, and genuinely just spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family takes deep comfort in knowing that she is now peacefully reunited with her loving husband, Luong. She leaves behind a proud legacy through her 6 children, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and an extended family and community that loves her dearly.

Chinh is preceded in death by her parents and husband Luong Van Nguyen.

Chinh is survived by her children: Hung Hoby (Rachel) Nguyen, Thu Heather (Chris) Peterson, Trieu (Nancy) Nguyen, Tam-Nhi (Alan) Roderick, Thanh Hang (Andrew) Huynh, Viet (Kim) Nguyen; Brother: Trong (Hue) Nguyen; Grandchildren: Jensen Nguyen, Sheridan Nguyen, Anthony Minh (Cindy) Nguyen, Amanda (Ryan) Suggs, Sonja Peterson, Lindsey Peterson, Joshua Nguyen, Kayla Nguyen and Jasmine Nguyen; Great-grandchildren: Layla Nguyen, Sylas Nguyen, Conor Suggs, Ivy Suggs; and nieces and nephews ann extended family.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers, love, care and support.
