

A visitation for Cleo will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76148, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Cleo Ann Springer was born in Elkmont, Alabama to Cleo Walker and Junious Ferral on October 29,1944. She went to school in Elkmont. She married Donald Ray Springer on January 30, 1960 in Athens, Alabama. She worked as a medical assistant for many years in California. She also worked in Fort Worth for Grable Insurance Co. As well as medical records for various companies. Most important she served as a faithful wife and mother during 20 years of service with her husband in the U.S. Army.
Cleo was baptized as a teenager and served faithfully in her churches. She was part of the puppet ministry with her husband for 25 years. They also sang in a quartet called Country Gospel for 10 years. She was a prayer warrior for her family and her church congregation.
Cleo is preceded in death by her father, mother, and first born son. Cleo is survived by her husband Donald of almost 63 years , her children Don and Cindy, her sister Judy and brother Ray, her granddaughters Felicia and Farah, her grandson Micah, and her great grandsons Ayden and Ryland.
The family of Cleo wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Debra Krieg, Dr. Corrine Moreland, and the Magnolia Hospice Staff and nurses for the loving care that was given to Cleo during the last few years.
