Clifford Horace Harrington passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2018. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Horace and Marie Harrington on May 16, 1938. He graduated in 1956 from Technical High School. After high school, he joined the Air Force, serving his country for 10 years. Clifford married Elva Lee Hoodenpyle on July 14, 1967.
Clifford worked at Lockheed Martin until his retirement in 2001. As he was raising his family, he coached his sons’ baseball teams and drove his daughters to countless drill team practices. He was a John Wayne enthusiast and enjoyed collecting model trains. Clifford was a member of First Baptist Church of Everman, where he resided since 1967.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joan Harrington; daughter, Sandra Hagar; and grandson, Matthew Phillips. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Elva Lee Harrington; children Janet Johnson and her husband, Randy; Douglas Beagles and his wife, Laura; son Kenneth Harrington and his wife Andrea. Grandchildren include Bryan Manley, Mallory Schuitt, Nicholas Phillips, Payne Beagles, Hope Harrington and Trevor Harrington and four great-grandchildren.
