Connie Faye Hill

A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on May 31, 2023. Visitation will be at 1 pm and Service will begin promptly afterwards at 2 pm at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery. Burial will immediately follow where she will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Connie was born in Bonham, Texas to Hudson Earl Howell and Geneva Faye Howell on January 27, 1949. Connie was blessed with two sons in her first marriage, Gary Wayne Halcomb in 1971 and Randy Alan Halcomb in 1976. She was doubly blessed when she met and married her love, Clarence F. Hill, and gained two additional sons, John Kerry Hill and Daren Keith Hill.

Connie thoroughly enjoyed her life of being a mom to her boys and a wife to Fred. She has been retired since her shoulder disability in 2013. Connie had a wonderful personality and was a friend to all who met her. She enjoyed trivia, card games, arts and crafts, and she loved to laugh. Connie was a devout baptist who served the Lord.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Freddie Hill, parents Hudson Earl and Geneva Faye Howell, brother Kerry Dale Howell, and son Gary Wayne Halcomb.

Connie is survived by her son Randy (Amy) Halcomb; son Kerry Hill; son Daren (Penny) Hill; step-daughter Julie (John) Kennedy; grandchildren Rebecca, Abigail, Hannah, Austin, Charlie, Jack, Andy, Emily, and AnnaBelle; brother Larry (Marilyn) Howell, sister Vicki Howell; many loved nieces and nephews; and many more cherished friends.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Howell, Charles Moats, Andy Moats, Jack Moats, Austin Hill, and Trivon Howell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Tabernacle Baptist Church in Roanoke or the charity of your choice.
