

A Visitation and Rosary will be held at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, on April 28, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Rita Catholic Church, 5550 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76112. Burial to follow at Laurel Land - Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Born in Monterrey, Mexico September 7, 1935. Consuelo spent the last 68 years on the Eastside of Fort Worth, Texas. She was a warm and loving mom, grandmother (Tita) and the family’s biggest cheerleader. She spent her life involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s activities.
Chelo volunteered at St.Rita’s school, church and at Nolan Catholic High School. She enjoyed being an active part of the St. Rita’s rosary group for many years. One of her most favorite things was taking care of children and making sure everyone who visited felt at home. She was an avid Yankee fan and loved attending baseball games. Her favorite vacations involved family and the beach. One of the family’s most cherished memories is hearing her sing along to her favorite music.
Chelo will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her son Javier; daughter-in-law Kim; daughter Sandra; son-in-law Michael; her grandsons Gabriel, Joel and Elliot; granddaughter Grace and her husband Zach; and many relatives, friends and neighbors who will treasure time spent with her.
