Cory was born Sept. 25, 1994, to Debra Lane and John Gruel. He graduated from Central High School. Cory had a passion for video games and online gaming.
He was preceded in death by his father, John; and his grandparents, McKoy and Donna Lane.
Cory is survived by his mother, Debra; uncle, Bobby Lane; cousins, Amanda Johnson and her husband, Will, and Brandon Lane.
A private memorial service will be held by Cory’s family at a later date.
