Coy F. Hemby, 87, passed away on January 1, 2014. Memorial Service: 2 p.m., Sunday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Coy was born on March 26, 1926 in Sawyer, Oklahoma to James and Evie Hemby. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Coy retired from a career in the U.S. Air Force and the Civil Service after 43 years In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Alzheimer's Foundation in Coy Hemby's name at or 1-966-232-8484. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Evalene Hemby; daughters, Susan Hutchins, Patti Cranfill and Cheri Botvidson; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Hemby; sister, Wilma Webb; and a host of friends and relatives.
