

Visitation: Tuesday Jan. 2, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Wednesday Jan. 3, 2018 at 10 AM at Laurel Land Funeral Home.He attended Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1948 Curtis became a Pilot. In 1985 he retired after 38 years of service SBC as a toll engineer. From 1990-1992 he was the President of the Red Helmets support group for Firemen. Curtis was also an Endowed Member of the Shriners. He was a lifetime member of AMBUCS; President of Dale Carnegie Association in Wichita Falls; President of Telephone Pioneers of America Board member of Wichita Falls Credit Union; Organized the 1984 Olympic Torch Relay for Fort Worth; and a multiple time recipient of the Gallon Club for the American Red Cross. He was invited to the inauguration of Richard Nixon through his works with the Republican Party.He was preceded in death by: daughter, Deborah Jackson; and grandson, Benji Harvey. Those left to cherish his memory: wife of 67 years, Barbara Harvey; children, Michael Harvey, Gail Goen, Susan DeVito; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
