Curtis was affectionately known to all has “Black”. Curtis attend Dunbar High School. The next chapter in his life started has he pursued a career with Broadway Plaza, Brookdale Senior Citizens living as a kitchen supervisor. Curtis met Ruthie Russell in 1993. Curtis loved to cook and spend time with friends and family.
On December 18, 2017 Curtis Lee Walker departed this world to be with the Lord. Those that will meet him at the heavenly gates to welcome him home will be his parents Willie B. Webb and Bernice Rhodes; sister, Lillian Brown; brothers, Robert Walker and Willie B. Webb, III.
Those left to celebrate Curtis’ life are his wife, Ruthie Russell; son, Artkete Walker Sr. (Stephanie) ; daughters, Verita Culton andAndrea Culton (Bo) ; sisters, Mollie Walker, Willie Odessa Webb, Joanne Williams (Darrell), Desiree Webb, Pauline White, Sandra Thompson, Carolyn Walker and Anita Walker; brothers, Murkiel Webb ( Janice), Kenneth Walker (Dorothy) and Ludie Walker; aunt, Vernell Canada and a host of relatives and friends.
