

Cynthia graduated from Abilene High School. She had a career in the oil and gas industry working at Dono oil company in Abilene, Texas. Cynthia attended The Saint Francis Village Protestant Fellowship. Cynthia had a passion for Bible Study Fellowship. She attended for many years and was also a group leader.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Max and Wanda Giles and her sister Gayle.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Wayne Waldrum; her brother Tip Giles and wife Joy; a sister Angela Rice and husband Joe; and her Daughter and Best Friend Melinda Waldrum Forward. She was so proud of and loved to brag on her only granddaughter Tessa Forward.
Cynthia was full of joy and love with an outgoing personality. She knew that to have a friend you had to be a friend. Cynthia had hundreds of friends. Cynthia’s family and all of her friends will greatly miss her. Cynthia has left us with a lifetime of memories.
A memorial service will take place on July 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm, at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth within the Chapel of Chimes, located in the cemetery; the address is 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
