A proud Marine, Damon carried a deep sense of loyalty, strength, and dedication throughout his life. He was a man who valued family above all else, a trait that defined the way he lived and loved. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jacki Sharon Thompson, who passed on August 13, 2025, and whom he cherished deeply for 45 years.
Damon had a passion for golf, attending sports events with his children, enjoyed traveling, and was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He had a gift for storytelling and could capture a room with his humor, wisdom, and larger-than-life personality. Known for his warmth and easygoing nature, he truly never met a stranger—only friends he hadn’t made yet.
His legacy lives on in the countless memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
