Darlene Faye Fayko

Grapevine – Darlene Faye Fayko, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Darlene was born January 5, 1940 in Cedar Rapids IA to Warren Parcell and Alice Snider Parcell. Darlene grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, then settled in Fort Worth after she married her late husband, Major John K Fayko in 1976. In addition to being a wonderful mother, Darlene retired in 2001 as Operations Manager for the law firm of Boswell and Kober. She was a loving person who had many friends and family that will miss her smile, laughter and caring ways. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Francine. Darlene is survived by a sister Betty, daughters Stacey Prince (Doug) and Vicki Lingafelter (Bryan), nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Memorial – Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life from 2-4 pm on November 19, 2017 at the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House, 1110 Penn Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
