FORT WORTH -- David Brown Churchwell Jr., 93, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Service: Private. David was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Wichita Falls to David Sr. and Florence Aline Reid Churchwell. He was a very caring man. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army fighting in the Pacific theater. He retired from Armour/Swift Meat Packing after many years. He also retired after another 30-plus years in the Fort Worth ISD. He was a longtime member of Edge Park United Methodist Church. David was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, "Dot"; daughter, Darlene; and all his siblings. Survivors: Nieces, Betty Edmondson and Wanda Pribble; and many other loving family members and friends.
