David Hohne

David Hohne, 67, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 7, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr., Fort Worth, Texas. David was born January of 1952 to Donald and Ruth Hohne . He was born in Dayton, Ohio and was the second eldest of 8 children. He worked in the tool and die sales industry for a majority of his life, moving with his family to numerous cities with different job opportunities. David had a good sense of humor and was a very generous man. He always did his best to help those in need. In his free time, he enjoyed being hands on and working on new home projects. He could often be found shopping at Home Depot and Lowe's for supplies for his next project. A loving father, grandfather, brother and friend will be dearly missed. David is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Hohne. Left to cherish David's memory are his daughters, Jennifer Young, Molly Guidry, and Kelley Best, and husband Scott; grandchildren, Austin Young, Ethan Young, Madeline Young, Nick Guidry, Dylan Best and Brooklyn Best; great-granddaughter, Tessa Herrera; father, Don Hohne Sr.; brothers and sisters, Karen Deneke, Gary Hohne, Paul Hohne, Ann Hohne, Melissa Schooley, James Hohne, and Don Hohne Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

It was great to have an opportunity to work with Dave. He was very knowledgeable of the Tool & Die industry and was an honest and hard working salesman. He surely will be missed by many customers and friends in the industry. I pray for his family in knowing he no longer lives in pain.
