David Garry Smith II

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, July 10th at Laurel Land–Rose Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home.

David was born in Wichita, KS to David and Connie Smith on March 9, 1995. He graduated from Richland High School. Throughout his life, he embraced both adventure and learning. A passionate sports enthusiast, he enjoyed playing football, basketball, track and field, and, in his younger years, soccer. He cherished the simple moments spent fishing with his father. Another simple joy was watching Dallas Cowboys games with his mother which created countless memories filled with laughter and conversation. As he matured, his curiosity led him to develop a deep appreciation for history, and he found comfort, wisdom, and joy in studying the Bible with his sister. His love for family, learning, and shared experiences reflected the kind and thoughtful person he was and will remain a lasting part of the memories held by all who knew and loved him. At the time of his passing, he worked as a Certified Fork Lift Operator.

David was preceded in death by his infant son, Roman Smith and father, David Smith.

David is survived by his son, Zachary Skwarek; Sister, Talesha Williams; Mother, Connie Smith; Aunts, Sherri Norman and Linda Givens; Uncle, Craig Williams; and a host of Great Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
