Mr. Dedric Da'Vonne Harris Sr.

Dedric Davonne was born July 4th 1972, to Lee and Regina Harris which was fitting he came in with a bang and went out on his terms.

Dedric attended Our Mother Of Mercy Catholic School; he was a Morningside Viking and a Poly Parrott.

Dedric fell into a lifestyle not pleasing to anyone, but he came out of that lifestyle and devoted his life to the youth. He became the Gang Intervention Coordinator for the Boys And Girls Club Of America (Hillside Branch). He did anything and everything to change their minds and their path. He did not want to see any of them go down the wrong road. He helped a lot of grown men as well as changing their minds and the path they were on.

We are so thankful and grateful for the time God allowed us with him.

On January 24, 2025 he was called home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Harris. Those left to cherish his memory are; daughter, Marlesha Harris, son, Dedric Davonne Harris, Jr. "DJ"; his father, Lee Harris, Sr.; 3 grandchildren; one sister, LeAndra Moore, two brothers, Lee Harris, Jr. and Donnell Session; a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial for Dedric will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Atatiana Carr Jefferson, 1201 East Maddox, Fort Worth, TX 76104.
