Burleson, TX - Donald J. Allebach, age 68, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. He left this life as he lived it, as a giver, as a donor. Donald is rejoicing for the lives he helped save by his donation.
Mr. Allebach was born September 20, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to parents William Gerald Allebach, Sr. And Florence Lynch Allebach. He graduated from Northeast Catholic School for Boys in 1968. Not long after graduation, Donald enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the USS Boston during Vietnam where he earned a Purple Heart.
Donald married the love of his life, Regina L. Allebach on January 3, 1970. They loved and lived for each other for 49 years.
This beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be missed for his quick wit, his enormous heart and for his sincere and never ceasing desire to give to others. He never put himself first in anything. He had a good listening ear and was never judgmental. If he could make someone happy, then he was going to do whatever he could to do that. There will never be another one like him.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, William Gerald Allebach, Jr. and by his beloved son, Donald J. Allebach, Jr.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories, his adoring wife, Regina L. Allebach, his daughter, Debbie O’Connor, and sister, Joan M. Allebach as well as five precious grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will celebrate this great man on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel at Laurel Land Fort Worth. Inurnment to immediately follow.
