

Born in Los Angeles, Don attended Burleson schools and UT Arlington, where he studied Physical Chemistry. While a graduate student, he married his wife, Marie. They were married for 46 years.
Don worked for General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin for 41 years as a Material Engineer. His ingenuity, level-headed dedication, and careful planning made him a trusted colleague to all he interacted with.
Don was a loving husband and father, a stalwart friend, and a generous volunteer. Called by God to serve, Don taught Sunday School and served as an elder or deacon at the churches he called home.
Don is survived by his wife, Marie, his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher & Lynda-Jo Jackson, and daughter Robin Jackson, his mother, Ruth Jackson, sister and brother-in-law, Debbie & Rex Mauney, and sister-in-law, Karen Jackson.
Funeral services with be held at Harvest Assembly of God in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday, February 2, at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the following: American Bible Society, Harvest Assembly Mission Fund, or Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County.
