Uncle Don was the sweetest man.  I will never forget him and his easy level personality.  He was a perfect example of a member of  The Greatest Generation. He was such a stand up individual who went to war, went to college, started a lovely family, voted, went to church and was the patriarch of an amazing family.  I am so proud of him and grateful that I was able to spend time with him.    

Uncle Don was definitely of the Greatest Generation   and will live on in the memories of all of us who loved him so much.  I always admired Uncle Don like I did my own father.  He did everything expected of him and did it well.  He served his country,  received higher education , had a long successful marriage and fathered a lovely family.  He surly had no regrets of his life.  I have thousands of happy memories with him in Mexico with the family, going to Casa Manana, Six Flags and many more.  He was an admirable person.  I will always remember him and miss his presence.

Mr. Wheeler will be missed. He was a great neighbor and always said hi. He would walk to your house and have a brief conversation.  He was a brilliant man and always had a great way of telling a story. Our condolences to the Wheeler family.
