Donna Lee Massingill

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Lee Massingill, who left us on July 26th, 2025, at the age of eighty-one. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on May 2nd, 1944, in Wyandotte, Michigan. Donna Massingill was the child of Walter and Beryll Gray. Throughout her life, Donna was known for her love of children, hard work ethic, always trying to do the right thing, and constantly helping others. She enjoyed the antiques, auctions, painting and sewing.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Beryll Gray; sister, Bonnie and her husband, Ted; husbands, Leroy Sorenson and Fred Massingill; and daughters, Debbie Lee Sorenson and Deanna Marie Sorenson.

Donna is survived with deep sorrow by her Sister, Loretta and Danny Hall of Mesquite; Daughter, Dennice and Don Gibson of Godley; Son, Bryan Leroy and Kimberly Sorenson of Cleburne; Stepson, Michael Massingill of Mansfield; Grandchildren, Chad and Kelly Anderson, Christopher and Ashley Baker, Casey and Allison Baker, Jonathan Baker, Taelor and Marisa Sorenson, Syrena Sorenson, Katie and Brett Fotter, Amber and Aaron Golden, Zachary Bohlman, Clayton Camp and Alainia Jelas; Twenty-nine Great Grandchildren; and her best and most loyal friend, Izzy.

A visitation for Donna will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
