

Donna Kelley Reeves, born on October 28, 1930, in Salem, Ohio, to John and Charleen Yocus, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 3, 2025. Donna was the eldest of three children and grew up in a close-knit, loving family. Donna met the love of her life, Leonard, at Asbury College in Kentucky. She was married to Leonard Kelley on June 4, 1949, and together they shared a life full of love, adventure, and service.
For over 20 years, Donna was the devoted wife of an Air Force Chaplain. This role allowed her and Leonard to travel and live around the world, and Donna embraced the opportunity, forging lasting friendships and gaining invaluable experiences in each new place.
After Leonard's retirement from the Air Force, Donna enjoyed traveling the United States, particularly visiting national parks. She was a passionate and skilled seamstress, often sewing her own clothes, and she found great satisfaction in this creative outlet.
Donna’s warmth, kindness, and love of life will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and an enduring love of adventure.
Donna's life was marked by her devotion to her family and community. Donna Kelley Reeves is survived by her sons: David Kelley and wife Dee and Tim Kelley and wife Julie. Donna’s legacy will continue through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a great source of joy for her. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Yocus and her sister, Marietta Hearn.
Visitation will be on February 12, 2025, from 10:00-12:00 pm at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. The address is 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134. A service will follow the Visitation from 12:00-1:00 pm.
In celebration of Donna’s vibrant life, the family requests that attendees wear casual attire in any color but black, reflecting her bright spirit and love for life. Donna's legacy of love, laughter, and colorful living will forever be remembered by those who were blessed to know her.
