Doris Jean Faith

A Visitation will be held at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm with Pastor Joe Mendez of Liberty Baptist Church, officiating. Burial to follow at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Doris was born to Montie Everett & Edna Roberta Davis on October 1, 1935. She graduated from Handley High School in 1953. She married Winston O. Faith on June 5, 1953 in Handley, Texas. She worked as a Construction Accountant for Huber, Hunt & Nichols for many years, along with other construction companies. She retired at age 70. Doris had a Christian Book Ministry with her brother, Freedom Bound Books. She collected donated and purchased books and bibles, sent many to other countries and prisons, and set up a church library for Dayspring of Life Ministry, which was dedicated in her name.

Doris is preceded in death by Winston O. Faith, Montie E. Davis, Roberta Davis Patterson, Harold & Jackie Davis, Joy & Homer Jennings, David Routh, Rachael Rawley and Olivia Rawley.

Doris is survived by David Faith, Devonna Faith, Denita & Jerry Craft, Dixie Routh, Jessica Rawley & Clay Pearson, Michael Faith, Stacy & Derek Seawel, Cameron Craft, Eden Rawley, Emma & Aubrey Seawel, Aubrey Pearson, and Atalie Rawley, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Craft, Jeff Davis, Phil Christian, Ronald Wilkey, Derek Seawel, and Jason Statser.

The family of Doris Faith wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Pastor Joe Mendez, members of Liberty Baptist Church and other close friends and family who loved on her, brought meals and flowers, her pallbearers, and all those attending the service.
