Doris was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Bosque County.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Sidney "Sid" Lester Owen, on May 1, 2014.
Survivors: Daughter, Vickie Chapman and husband, Neal; son, Randy Owen and wife, Joy; grandchildren, Nicole Stell and husband, Alan, Angela Chapman, Andy Owen and wife, Lauren, and Chelsea Cucuta and husband, Ysmelle; great-grandchildren, Lenora Owen and Fenix Cucuta; brother, David Williams and wife, Dilyne; sister, Sherry Gilleland and husband, Wayne; and many other loving family members and friends.
