Dorothy was an only child of Don and Lila Timerman in Copenhagen, N.Y. She was born on Nov. 21, 1920. After graduation as a dental hygienist, she moved to Texas during World War II, and worked in the hospital at Sheppard Army Air Field in Wichita Falls. There she met and married Hayden Johnson. They had three children, all raised by the stay-at-home mom in Arlington.
Dorothy later met and married Robert Frankenfield in 1970. They loved to travel and made many trips in their motorhome. They covered all of the United States, through the years. After retiring from Pat Crow Appliance retail store, which they owned, they spent time with their children and grandchildren.
Survivors: Dorothy is survived by her children, Hayden Johnson Jr. and wife, Molly, William Johnson and wife, Clair, Shelley Wintory and husband, Terry; stepchildren, Gary Frankenfield, Bobbie Strickland and husband, Dan, and Earl Dee Frankenfield and wife, Linda; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
