Her calm and generous spirit, when we moved to Fla in the 1960's is something I will always remember. She made our childhood very special. She introduced me to avacados, pistachio nuts, and taught me the Florida way to quickly peel an orange. Her calming sweet attitude during the Cuban missle crisis, of love and faith made it easier for me, for at 12, I was a worrier. Rest in peace sweet Aunt Dorothy. I know you will make heaven a better place.

My love and my Mother’s love go with you all as you go through this time together, celebrating the life of a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Wife, Sister in Law and Aunt. As a child my Aunt Dot always made my time with her, Gerald, Lori, Lisa, Mike and their families, a special occasion. As an only child I cherished the trips to Florida as I knew I would be among people that were part of my extended family who I could call my own. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you on Saturday as you gather together to honor our darling Dorothy. Our love, Joanna Partain and Betsy Partain Clements
