Dorothy Elizebeth Hickman

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Pastor Matt Baird officiating. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Dorothy worked for many years for JC Penny, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and devout Christian. She loved travel and the outdoors, fishing, camping and gardening. She was an avid reader, domino player and loved to listen to Gospel music.

She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Russell Hickman.

Survivors: Children: Donald W. Hickman and wife Pat, Janie Crane and husband Joe, John Hickman and wife Brenda; Grandchildren: Judy Proctor and husband Mike, Tony Hickman and wife Kristy, Jay Crane and wife Larissa, Andrea Robinson and husband Jeff, Jill Kersh and husband David and Heather Hickman; 28 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Lovell; sisters-in-law: Darlene Whitson, Mary Lou Renfro and Billie McMillion and husband Wayne; and special friend David Gilmore. She will be greatly missed by all.
