Memorial Service: 2 p.m., Saturday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Dorothy was born on December 28, 1925 in Bonham, Texas to Claude and Ida Moore. She married her sweetheart Johnny Lambert on December 27, 1941 and shortly after they moved together to Fort Worth. When Dorothy's father Claude passed away, she inherited a farm in Savoy and tended to the cattle which she knew each by name. She loved Messiah Baptist Church where she was a long time active member. Recently, Dorothy spent her time playing games with her friends at the Handley Senior Citizen Center.
She was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 54 years, Johnny "Pa" Lambert.
Survivors: Daughter, Pat Granger and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Kim Weilman and her husband Terry, Todd Martin, and Tina Toulouse and her husband Greg; great-grandchildren, Ian, Blain and Triniti Weilman; sister, Catherine Ellison; sister-in-law, Jean Bellows and her husband Hezzie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
