Survivors: Husband, Elliott Lawson; children, Thelma Mack, Mildred White, Ella Whitfield and Howard Lawson; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
