FORT WORTH -- Dortha Raye Moore, 94, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015. Dortha was born Oct. 28, 1921, to Amy and Alpha Turney in Comanche County. She was a woman of patience, kindness and strength. She loved cooking, the outdoors, sports and, most of all, her family. She will be greatly missed. A special thank-you to Dr. Beth Mewis and her staff who treated her with such joy and respect. Thank you, also, to everyone at Broadway Plaza Assisted Living for taking such loving care of her. Dortha was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James I. Moore; her parents; and brothers, Tom E. Wilson and A. Leon Turney. Survivors: Daughter, Pat Paul and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Keith Paul and wife, Heather, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Kort Paul and wife, Dina, of Fort Worth and Paige Paul of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Reynaldo Ulibarri, Sadie Paul, Cooper Paul and Nickolas Paul; and several nieces and nephews.
