Dorthiel Ladd Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leroy Ladd in Commerce Texas

She was Schooled in Commerce, Tx. and moved to Fort Worth Tx.,

in 1960 where she reunited, and Married Mr. William T. Smith Sr.

They are the parents of two children Mrs. Glenda Thompson and

Mr. William T. Smith Jr.

She joined Lake Como Church of God in Christ in 1963 under the

Late Bishop D L Smith, where she praised and serve the Lord for over

50ty years. She moved her membership to Crouchs Time of Harvest C.O.G.I.C.,

with Pastor Randie Boyd in 2014, where she found comfort, and, a very Loving

Church home.

She was a great inspiration to the youth and young adults, and, was

also known to feed a few senior residents in the neighborhood back in

her hay day. She also,

use to have an Annual Tea, for the church, where she had many supporters,

that helped her Honor, the work of the Lord. Her favorite holidays were the

4th of July, and Christmas! She loved to dress everything up! and make it

look Pretty! Especially at Christmas! She Loved her family! And tried to

keep them connected.

She was Wise, a Leader, a Teacher, Advisor, Confidant, a Prayer Warrior, a singer,

play by ear piano player, we could go on and on... But God! Says it's time to come Home.

As her Husband always said as she pass by the room," My...Baby, My...Baby",

Rest well, MY Baby!

My Mother Wrote:

I had a wonderful life ,

God was so good to me,

I hope I have please him, with my life.

I Love him so much, and, I tried to Live

everyday, of my Life, for Him.

He is Worthy! of All, of the Praise, that I gave him!

I Love him so much! I don't have words to express.

Don't worry about me, I'm at peace...
