Maudine Edna “Deana” McCoy passed away peacefully Sunday, March 6, 2016. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday March 9th 2016 at the First Christian Church of Burleson, 601 S.W. Johnson Ave, Burleson 76028. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in loving memory and honor in her name. Donations can be mailed to the First Christian Church of Burleson, P.O. Box 57 Burleson, Texas 76097. Deana, 83, was born March 23, 1932 in Moline, Kansas and has resided in Burleson since 1961. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to many. She was a member of the Eastern Stars as well as a longtime prominent member of the First Christian Church of Burleson. Her passing was preceded by the death of her husband of 49 years, Charles McCoy, in May of 2002. Survivors include two sons, Lynn McCoy and wife Courtney, Lyle McCoy and wife Sheryl; grandchildren, Misty McCoy Hoyt, Stefanie McCoy Riley, Tiffanie McCoy Winchester and Justin McCoy. Deana’s life was also greatly blessed with numerous great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
