He is preceded in death by his father Weldon Wuistinger and mother Ruby Edmenson. Left to honor his memory is his wife of 34 years, Joyce Wuistinger. Ed and Joyce are blessed with a beautiful family. Their children are son Joshua Wuistinger and wife Kenna, daughter Nikki Gatlin and husband Justin, son Chase Wuistinger, daughter Kaylyn Trojacek-Whipps, and son Neil Trojacek. Ed also had twelve grandchildren, Devon Wuistinger, Hunter Wuistinger, Jayden Wheeler, Jorden Wheeler, Myleigh Hilburn, Krissy Trojacek, Ayden Gray, Caydin Gatlin, Sophia Gatlin, Adalyne Gatlin, Alexander Gatlin, and Peyton Trojacek. He was also blessed with three great grandchildren Ava, Koen, and Lucas Wuistinger. As well as his loving sister Becky Ingalsbe, extended family, and many dear friends.
Ed was raised in Burleson, Texas where he lived until he graduated in 1975 from Burleson High School. He was a proud Burleson Elk, who loved playing wide receiver for the High School football team. After graduating, he went on to start his family in Burleson. As his children got older, Ed coached their baseball and pee wee football teams for the BYA. Furthermore, he worked for the Fort Worth Star Telegram for many years. His work ethic was something to be admired. After working at the Star Telegram, he went on to create a successful family business with his wife and kids by his side. His competitive spirit always brought laughter whether it was golf, bowling, cards, or racing his grandkids to the dinner table. He left a great legacy behind and will be dearly missed.
