Elaine Anders, a pioneering female business owner, devoted family matriarch, and respected leader in the produce industry (Paradise Produce) passed peacefully on August 17, 2026 at the age of 80.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ervin and Dorothy Woyach and her significant other Gene Grumbles.
She will be greatly missed by her sisters Sharon Zech, husband Richard Zech, and Deborah Barzano. She was blessed with many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.
She was born in Wood Dale, Illinois, grew up surrounded by a close-knit family. She was far more than a sister. She was a lifelong confidant, a constant source of support, and a presence that made every family gathering brighter.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 pm, and a reception will follow at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 within the Laurel Room of Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, located at 7100 Crowley Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76134. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Community Health of Texas (Hospice House at Huguley) or Alzheimer's Association.
