.FORT WORTH -- Eleanor Rose Jarzombek Young, 94, passed away peacefully from this world into God's open arms, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 . Eleanor was born Dec. 29, 1921, in Poth, to Jacob and Annie Jarzombek. She was a devoted Catholic of Polish descent, a loving wife and mother and was very warm hearted. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church for over 50 years. She also was a longtime member of St. Rita's Altar Society and Garden Club. Eleanor enjoyed being a homemaker and was a delicious cook, leaving a legacy of many delicious recipes to her family. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially football and golf, and she had a passion for gardening, nurturing roses, shrubs, flowers and growing vegetables.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Vitas Hospice and Home Instead Senior Care Services for providing great care of Eleanor during the past several months. We would also like to give a special thanks to our Brother Jim, who lived and cared for Eleanor for many years. She was predeceased by and joins in heaven her parents; her husband, Clyde Young; four sisters, Ruth Kutac, Pearl Kroll, Sylvia Skloss and Magdalen Suchy; and one brother, Alfred Jarzombek.
Survivors: Her children whom she adored and left to cherish the memories of her, Billy Joe Young and wife, Shel, of Fort Worth, Louis Young and wife, Janelle, of Tulsa, Okla., Jim Young of Fort Worth and Daughter Lucille Young-Owen and husband, George, of Willow Park; grandchildren, Sean Young, Katie Young-Deutser, Kim Young-Costley, Michelle Young-Evans, Chris Young, Sherry Thomas-Enoksen; and nine great-grandchildren.
