Elizabeth "Beth" Marie Coffman, devoted mother, grandmother, accountant, and lover of cats, music, and life's simple pleasures, passed away peacefully at her home in Weatherford, TX on June 30, 2026, at the age of 69.
Elizabeth was born in Munich, Germany, and spent her childhood growing up in Anchorage, Alaska. Life eventually led her across the country before she finally settled in Texas, a place she proudly called home. She loved telling people, "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could." Beth carried with her a resilient spirit, a quick wit, and an appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Beth built a successful career as an accountant, where her gift for organization and love of numbers served her well. She never met a spreadsheet she didn't love and found genuine satisfaction in bringing order to even the most complicated problems.
Outside of work, Beth enjoyed music, adored cats, and could sometimes be persuaded by the unmistakable allure of a Winstar slot machine. She was a lifelong fan of the Garfield comic strip, Betty Boop, and the timeless music of Patsy Cline. She appreciated the little joys in life and found happiness in the moments that made her smile.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Erna Bell.
She is survived by her son, Jon Coffman, and his wife, Susan Coffman; and by her cherished grandchildren, Haley Coffman and Ryan Coffman.
Beth will be remembered for her quiet strength, her sense of humor, her love of family, and the meticulous attention to detail that defined both her work and the way she approached life.
Those wishing to honor Beth's memory may choose to send flowers, make a donation to the United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA), whose mission of education, advocacy, and support helps improve the lives of individuals living with ostomies, or simply honor her memory by reaching out to someone you love. Make the phone call. Give the hug. Say the words. We are reminded all too well that tomorrow is never promised.
“Death is that state in which one exists only in the memory of others, which is why it is not an end. No goodbyes. Just good memories.”
